GOD WITH US

IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER

“10 Minutes a Day with Jesus”

 Scripture Reading for the day:

Matthew 1:1-7

Luke 3:23-38

 Meditation:

Why are these genealogies of Jesus important?

How do they increase your growing appreciation of Jesus?

 Prayer:

Thank you, Father, for showing me the humanity of Jesus in such an honest way. Thank you for substantiating his claim to be your promised Messiah, the son of David, and my Lord and Saviour.

Let Us Pray

It is time to reach deep and pray for the world around us. Let us connect with one another in spirit

The Abundance of GOD

Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10 New King James Version)

Peace and GOD

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid JOHN 14:27

PRAYER TO ST MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou,

O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God,

thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits,

who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. .

O SALUTARIS    O salutaris Hostia,

Quae caeli pandis ostium:   Bella premunt hostilia,

Da robur, fer auxilium.     Uni trinoque Domino

Sit sempiterna gloria,    Qui vitam sine termino

Nobis donet in patria.

Amen.

 TANTUM ERGO

Tantum ergo Sacramentum            Veneremur cernui:

Et antiquum documentum             Novo cedat ritui:

Praestet fides supplementum         Sensuum defectui.

Genitori, Genitoque        Laus et iubilatio,

Salus, honor, virtus quoque

Sit et benedictio:     Procedenti ab utroque

Compar sit laudatio.

Amen

If you’re not particularly confident with this please do not worry, we will explain everything using simple step by step guides on our website (just follow the links in our emails). If you’re still struggling after trying to follow the guides, email: rckirkdaleparish@cores.org.uk and one of the team will give you a call and set you up over the phone.
